I moved back in with my parents after a short spell in the Buddhist community.
So now back with my mum and dad, just like the old days! I had a happy childhood but grew out of that phase in 1997 when I went to uni. Back in, it was like nothing had ever changed!
Don’t get me wrong, my parents are the kindest people you could ever meet. My washing and cooking were taken care of and my practical needs sorted (my dad commissioned a downstairs bedroom, lounge and wet room). Also I’m very significantly, they helped me with my many benefits forms.
Only my independence was lacking- and their entitlement to a relaxing retirement.
